One of the most amazing places I have been is to Mendon Ponds.
I brought my oldest daughter there last year. This year, my youngest and I ventured out on a very cold and windy day.
We walked around for awhile (freezing our fingers and toes off). We got to a point on the trail where my daughter begged me to turn around. She had had enough. I couldn't blame her. We could barely talk through the cold.
We were almost back to the car when we saw them....
Birds! Everywhere!
What an enjoyable experience.
